Please select the quantity based on the total weight of your pieces.

  • 1 quantity = 1kg

  • Example: A 5kg piece = select quantity of 5

FAQs

Firing Guidelines & Requirements

  • All pieces must be completely dry before drop-off and clearly labelled with your maker’s mark. Please also ensure your storage box is labelled with your full name.

  • Yes—details of the clay and glazes used must be provided to ensure safe and appropriate firing.

  • We do not fire:

    • Wet or damp pieces

    • Work with glazed bases (the base and 5mm above must be glaze-free)

    • Pieces containing foreign materials such as paper, wood, or non-refractory metals

    • Greenware for single firing

  • If you are using glazes that may run, we recommend using kiln cookies (available on request). These help protect kiln shelves during firing.

  • While every care is taken, you are responsible for any damage caused by your materials or work. This may include cleaning or replacement costs if kiln shelves or equipment are affected.
